Nokia 1661 Review
14.03.10
The Nokia 1661 has a plastic skin which feels flimsy. The handset provides just an average call quality. When it comes to its design, one can say that it is basic. It is compact as well as lightweight.
The phone features a 1.8-inch display that is considered to be small for such a handset. Unfortunately, it offers a low resolution, i.e. 160×128 pixels, you can adjust only the backlighting time. It has an intuitive interface which is available in the list and also the grid style.
You will not be impressed by the 1661’s navigation controls and keypad buttons. Despite the fact that the soft keys are of small size, they are raised above the surface of the handset.
It includes the following features: a 2.5-millimeter headset jack, volume rocker, and proprietary charger jack.
The Nokia 1661 comes with a 500-contact phone book which provides room in each entry for five phone numbers. In fact, it has minimal amount of features. You can observe a vibrate mode, calculator, budget spreadsheet, calendar, alarm clock, stopwatch, countdown timer, a unit and currency converter as well as text and multimedia messaging. You are enabled with 32 polyphonic ringtones, but it is possible to create your own tones. There is FM radio as well as flashlight.
